MEMBERSHIP

We are a friendly performing society, who not only put on a full production and several concerts each year, but also hold a number of social events for members, (such as our now annual Have A Go Night, and trips to various other theatrical performances). We have three types of membership:

Performing members are full members of the society, who take part in fully-staged and orchestrally backed productions. They are required to pass a simple audition.

Honorary members are full members not taking part in the fully-staged May production. They pay a reduced subscription, but can still participate in any other shows and concerts performed thoughout the year. They are required to pass a simple audition. In addition, anyone interested in being involved in backstage work can also choose to become and honorary member - no audition is required for these individuals.

Patrons support CESP with a small annual subscription. In return for this they have priority bookings for productions, the right to attend and watch rehearsals, invitations to social functions, and their names in production programmes.

Our Equal Opportunities Policy states that "No application for membership will be treated less favourably than another on grounds of race, gender, marital status, nationality, ethnic or national origin, colour, creed, age, disabilities or sexual identity."

All voices and levels of expertise are welcome. If you would like to be part of our future as a performing or honorary member, or as a patron, please contact us.
